- How to take Pictures Outside
- Bright objects and Backgrounds
- Bright objects will cause problems with your camera's metering system. When a camera is calculating exposure it will look at the scene and determine a value based upon an average. The problem is that when there is a bright or refelctive object in the scene it will skew that scene average and make the camera think that the scene is brighter than it is. When this happens the overall image will be too dark.
You fix this by using your exposure compensation adjustment and moving it to the plus side to increase overall exposure.
